Install
For a first time install of Schedule D Tax Tool:
- Open compressed ZIP file
- Run installation EXE program
- Follow on-screen instructions
For subsequent upgrade install:
- Use "Add-Remove Programs" to uninstall prior release
- Follow above steps for a first time install
Switching from free to paid version:
- Use "Add-Remove Programs" to uninstall free version
- Follow above steps for a first time install

Windows permissions requirement
Startup
To run the Schedule D Tax Tool app:
- From START menu, locate application icon
- Click icon to launch application
Alternatively:
- From DESKTOP, locate application shortcut
- Click shortcut to launch application
The startup shortcut may be copied to another location, as desired.
